FilePilot Shell is an open-source (MIT), Tauri + Rust terminal emulator built for developers and sysadmins running local shells and SSH sessions side by side. Multi-tab panes support a Unified Sync Manager, letting you group splits (A/B/C or custom) and broadcast commands across hosts in real time.

Security is zero-knowledge: SSH keys and connection profiles are encrypted client-side with AES-256-GCM, with optional HashiCorp Vault integration for teams. Every session can be recorded via PTY capture and replayed frame-by-frame for auditing or debugging.

Startup macros (JavaScript or Shell) automate env setup, aliases, and sub-session connections on launch. A built-in AI copilot adds context-aware autocomplete, one-click error correction, and natural-language-to-CLI generation.

Runs on SSH-2 (RFC 4251) with agent forwarding, proxy routing, and configurable keepalive. Native support for PowerShell/CMD/WSL, zsh/bash/fish, and seria .
