resil

We have hosted the application resil in order to run this application in our online workstations with Wine or directly.

Quick description about resil:

ResIL started as a fork of DevIL and is actively maintained to use up-to-date libraries. The API has been updated to work with several threads. Countless fixes have been applied, much of the code base has actually been rewritten to enhance stability. Support for webp has been added. ResIL focuses on robust decoding so that even partially corrupted images can be displayed without crashes or exceptions.

• Encoding and decoding of numerous image formats: JPG, PNG, WEBP, BMP, GIF, TIFF, HDR, ICO, and many more
• Support for legacy raster graphics formats: TGA, CUT, ILBM, PCD, PCX, PNM, SGI, SUN
• Support for game formats: Doom, DDS, BLP, FTX, IWI, LIF, ROT, UTX, VTF, WAL
• All formats supported using a common set of API functions
• Loading and saving from/to a file, memory, or using user-defined functions
