Quick description about thubeacon:

thuBeacon is a Windows-based client-server system for pushing scrolling alert banners to desktop workstations across an organization. Built for IT administrators and managed service providers (MSPs) who need a reliable, self-hosted way to notify end users about maintenance windows, outages, security alerts, or company announcements — without depending on email or chat.

Three components: a Windows Service (server), a lightweight agent (installed on workstations via MSI/GPO/SCCM), and an admin GUI.

Key capabilities include multi-tenant management, scheduled and repeating messages, per-message banner colors, agent auto-update, high availability, encrypted token authentication, and built-in analytics with inventory, usage charts, and maintenance window suggestions.

Target audience: Small to mid-sized IT departments and MSPs managing 10–1000+ workstations across one or multiple customer sites, looking for a simple, on-premise desktop alerting solution.
